Outhouse has emerged from the London-based Loop Collective as one of the most interesting and innovative line-ups in contemporary UK jazz. Featuring Robin Fincker and Tom Challenger in a two-tenor front line, Johnny Brearley on bass and Dave Smith on drums. This project features the astonishing Icelandic guitarist Hilmar Jensson, a long-time collaborator of New York scene-setter drummer Jim Black. His latest group Tyft mixes rock guitar into a jazz context.

Since their first performances in early 2006, trioVD have proved themselves to be amongst the most exciting and energetic bands associated with the Leeds Improvised Music Association.
